Welcome to Fourth and Fifth Grade ELA!  My name is Kelly Buckle, and I've been teaching in Wall Township since 2002. I've taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, and I've loved them all! I'm very excited to be teaching Language Arts to both 4th and 5th grade this year!

I grew up in Brielle, and went to Brielle Elementary School and Manasquan High School. I attended the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. I moved back to New Jersey after college, mostly because I didn't want to be away from my family or the beach! I started teaching right away, with a few short-term leave replacements in Little Silver, Fair Haven, and Marlboro. I was hired to teach Wall in 2002, and found my happily ever after at Old Mill School. We recently bought the house I grew up in, where I live with my husband and twin boys. I love reading, teaching, animals, hiking, the beach, and my boys!!!  

My main goal as a teacher is to help all of my students fall in love with books and reading. Nothing makes me happier than a good cup of coffee, a classroom full of excited students, and a favorite book!
