Welcome to fifth grade!

I am so excited to be teaching fifth-grade reading and writing this year.  I really love teaching language arts.  Reading and writing are passions of mine and I love to pass my enthusiasm for these subjects on to my class!

I have been teaching for many, many years and love being with my students.  When I am not in the classroom, you will find me with my family and friends.  The beach is my happy place and my favorite season is summer!  Long boat rides and days spent with my toes in the sand are fantastic!  

I have two children and a yellow lab named Jersey Girl!  My favorite hobby besides reading is exercising.  I love starting my day off with a good workout!  

I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
