Mr. J. Vasile
Mr. V. always loved art and took his first professional art lesson when he was just six years old!
Mr. V. has three fine arts degrees, including his Masters. Mr. V. has been nominated for "Teacher of the Year" three times, becoming a top five finalist in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, which is the fourth biggest school district in the United States.
Mr. V. is an internationally published artist and founder of 'Peace Flags in the Wind' which is an internationally traveling art exhibit that uses the arts as a catalyst for peace. The project started in 2009, in a Miami Title 1 middle school art room. Mr. V. and his students have created art installations that have been displayed at the Rosa Parks Museum, Martin Luther King Center, and George Washington’s Mount Vernon.
