  • Hello, my name is Miss Turner and I love teaching third grade at Old Mill!  This is my seventh year teaching at Old Mill and my ninth year teaching in total.  I have had experience teaching many grade levels, but third grade is my favorite!  

    Math is my favorite subject to teach, but we also have so much fun going on adventures with characters, creating stories, and learning more about the world around us.   I love incorporating songs, activities and projects into our learning.  In our classroom, there is a sign that says, "Be Kind, Work Hard, and Have Fun."  That truly is what I strive for in our classroom.  All I ever ask is for my students to do their best. 

    I love animals, but especially dogs.  I have two petite golden doodles named Riley and Brinkley.  They are frequently brought up during lessons!  We also have a class dog named Wally.  He is very well behaved and loves to sit.  

    Some of my hobbies include baking, playing tennis, horseback riding, gardening, drawing, and looking for seaglass on the beach.

    We have a fun year ahead and I am so excited for a wonderful year with our class! :)
