About Me:
The 2023-2024 school year is my 10th year at Wall High School. In my time at Wall High School I have previously taught English in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade levels. I am currently the SAT Prep Night Course Instructor. I am also proud to be an instructor in the Knights for Success Program after school. For the 2022-2023 school year, I had the honor of being the Governor's Teacher of the Year for Wall High School. I am currently the Yoga Club Advisor and the Care Club Co-Advisor. I am very active in our school community! I truly love collaborating with students on projects that make our school a better place.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog, Lincoln. We love taking Lincoln on adventures to local trails on the weekends. As an English teacher, I am an avid reader and lifelong lover of books. As Albus Dumbledore explains in JK Rowling's Harry Potter, "words are [...] our most inexhaustible source of magic."
I practice yoga and hope to become a certified yoga instructor in the future. I currently hold a Chair Yoga Certification.
I am also a lover of travel. We live in a world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. A few of my favorite places I have been fortunate enough to visit are: South Africa, Peru, and Iceland. I have proudly had the honor of exploring 30 countries, with many more I hope in my future.
