Welcome to Allenwood 5th Grade!

My name is Janci Jo Witt and I love teaching 5th grade! I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge and experience to create an effective classroom environment to increase the learning potential of each student in my class.

I have been teaching for over 20 years, and have spent time in 4th grade, elementary Spanish, and for the majority of my time in 5th grade at Allenwood Elementary.  I have a degree in Elementary Education, a Minor in Spanish, and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling.  I love teaching 5th grade and helping my students develop socially, emotionally, and academically in preparation for WIS!

My hobbies include tutoring, working out, shopping, dinning out, and traveling. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with friends and family at the beach and watching my family surf in the early morning or late afternoon in the summer.  

I currently live in the Ramtown section of Howell with my husband Ryan, 9 year-old daughter Harper, our Mini Goldendoodle Sandy-Lollipop, and our fish Aqua and Pinky.

I enjoy being a part of The Allenwood Family, and am honored to be an integral part of your child’s final year as an Allenwood Dragon!
