• This course aims to guide the advanced Latin student to an in-depth understanding of classical Latin through the study of Vergil’s Aeneid and Julius Caesar’s De Bello Gallico. The Advanced Placement syllabus will be followed with a focus on further developing language skills, analysis of the literary genres and styles of the authors and both the cultural and historical contexts of the works. The course will emphasize the skills and elements required to perform well on the Advanced Placement exam.   All students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses are required to take the Advanced Placement Examinations in May (see Policy 2429 & Program of Studies page 5).

We shall be using Google Classroom as our educational platform.  The class code for AP Latin is: oss7zlh.
