Wall Intermediate School Band Program!

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Wall Intermediate School Instrumental Music Program. Your cooperation, enthusiasm, and concern are a vital part of this program. This information is provided to insure that you can have a better understanding of the entire program.

As you are aware, Music Performance/ Band is a performance-based class. The largest sections are the flutes, clarinets, alto saxophones, trumpets, and percussion. High cost specialty instruments (piccolo, oboe, bassoon, bass clarinet, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, French horn, baritone and tuba) are provided on a limited basis by the Wall Township Board of Education. Length of service to the band and playing ability are two criteria for using a school band-owned instrument. 

Band  is like any other academic subject, and requires a year-long commitment.
