Mission Statement/Information
At Wall High School, we recognize that students need to feel safe, connected to school, and have adults that they can trust in order to meet their potential and achieve success at school. A successful bullying prevention program provides a safe and supportive learning environment. Our goal at Wall High is to expose students to the nature of bullying and to teach them to accept one another regardless of individual differences. We believe that all students have the right to be treated with dignity and respect by faculty, staff, and their peers. We do not tolerate or ignore any form of bullying.
Club Goals/Objectives
- To create a school environment which encourages students to disclose and discuss incidents of bullying behavior.
- To engage fellow students through various activities to promote and educate on bullying and kindness.
- To take practical actions to prevent incidents of bullying behavior e.g. to ensure comprehensive supervision and monitoring measures through which all areas of school activity are kept under observation.
- To support the procedures for reporting and recording incidents of bullying behavior.
- To support the procedures for investigating and dealing with incidents of bullying behavior.
- To develop a program of support for those affected by bullying behavior and those involved in bullying behavior.
- To work with, and through, the various local agencies in countering all forms of bullying and anti-social behavior.
