Meeting Schedule
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WALL COUNTY OF MONMOUTH AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY
WHEREAS, the Open Public Meetings Act is the law of the State of New Jersey and provides for public notice to be given pursuant to certain requirements concerning meetings of the Board of Education of the Township of Wall; and
WHEREAS, the Wall Township Board of Education approved a Board of Education meeting schedule for 2026, on January 6, 2026.
BE IT RESOLVED, the Wall Township Board of Education will meet at the Wall Township High School each month to conduct business of the Board; and
NOT THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Wall Township Board of Education sets the following meeting schedule:
- January 20, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- February 17, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- March 10, 2026 Board of Education Budget Only Workshop Meeting
- March 17, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- April 28, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- May 19, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- June 9, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- July 14, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- August 18, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- September 15, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- October 13, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- November 17, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- December 15, 2026 Board of Education Meeting
- January 5, 2027 BOE Reorganization Meeting
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the meetings will be held at the Wall High School and will commence at 5:45 p.m. to allow the Board to meet in Executive Session, which is not open to the public, prior to the public session of the meeting which starts at 7:00 p.m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the purpose of the Executive Session from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. is to discuss Confidential Matters per Statute or Court Order, Impact Rights to Receive Federal Funds, Unwanted Invasion of Individual Privacy, Collective Bargaining, Acquisition of Real Property or Investment of Funds, Public Safety Procedures, Litigation or Contract Matters or Attorney Client Privilege, Personnel Matters, or Imposition of Penalties upon an Individual.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the purpose of the public session shall be for the normal conduct of business of the Wall Township Board of Education, and any other items brought to the Board’s attention by any Board Member, Superintendent, Business Administrator/Board Secretary and/or Board Attorney.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board Secretary is authorized to advertise and announce such meetings as prescribed by law.
