Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Painchaud

Hello!  I am Mrs. Painchaud, and I am so excited to be working with you this upcoming school year.

Here is a little bit about me...

This is my sixth year in the Wall Township School District; however, this is my 18th year of teaching!  Before working in this district, I worked in East Brunswick, NJ.  I was a 6th and 7th grade Language Arts teacher for seven years, and then I became a reading specialist, working in the elementary schools first and spending my last three years in middle school.  For the past five years, I have been the reading specialist at Wall Intermediate.  I am excited about working at Old Mill and teaching 3rd Grade!

I graduated from Rowan University in 2005 and received my Masters in Reading from Rutgers University in 2010.

In 2009, I married my husband; I have known him since I was 15 years old!  Together, we have three children; Mia, Angelina, and Francesca.  We also have a black Labrador Retriever named Milo.

Some interesting facts about me are...My last name is French and, when translated into English, it means "Hot Bread".

  • I LOVE READING... I have even read with a flashlight in the movie theater.
  • I live by the beach, and I try going there every single day!
  • Music is one of my favorite things in the world... I am lying, it is food, but music is a close second!
