Reading

Our first grade readers are going on reading adventures and learning a LOT about the characters in our stories. We are paying attention to the events in our stories, what our characters say and do, how they feel, and also our own thinking about our books! We are having so much fun digging deeper into our stories. :)

Math

Our first grade scholars are starting near the end of first grade math with topics 12 and 13! In these units, we will learn how to measure with nonstandard and standard units. We will also learn how to tell time to an hour and a half hour!

Writing

First grade writers are into our last unit -Realistic fiction is so much fun to write because we get to be creative with our story characters and events!
