Fishing Club

  • Mission Statement/Information

    The WHS Fishing Club is open to all students who want to learn how to fish the fresh and salt waters of the Jersey Shore. The club hosts monthly meetings virtually which involve members giving fishing presentations and sharing experiences within the sport.  Our mission is to promote and further sport fishing by educating members on rules, laws, and regulations placed on each species that inhabit our local waters.  

    Club Goals/Objectives

    • The purpose of the Fishing Club at Wall High School is to promote student interest in fishing, the growth of the sport, introduction, and participation within the sport, within the high school and throughout the community of Wall Township.
    • The club will have recreational and competitive sessions.
    • This sport will teach the members more about the sport of fishing, tackle used, best strategies to target each species and safety
    • To encourage conservation and wise use of recreational resources.
    • To facilitate, education, and improve sport fishing awareness in the community.
    • To fish and share outdoor experiences and to promote conservation for future generations.
