Hello Parents and Guardians!

Welcome to an exciting 2023-2024 school year! I want to formally introduce myself as Old Mill School’s Family Liaison Counselor. Old Mill School has been my home since the 2000-2001 school year where I have had the pleasure of teaching first, second and most recently, third grade. Having been in the classroom for numerous years has given me the opportunity to build a strong rapport with students and family members, staff and also the community.

During this school year, Old Mill School students and staff will focus on kind and respectful behavior toward each other on a daily basis. Character education curriculum implemented by me will incorporate these traits and be carried out through classroom lessons. Outside of classroom lessons, I will be supporting students in different ways, which may include Lunch Bunch Groups and individual counseling times.  Parents will be contacted prior to students participating in lessons outside of the whole group class lessons.
