Hello and welcome to 1st grade! It has been a pleasure to teach at Allenwood for over 20 years.  Each day I get to enjoy helping children to explore, learn, and be the best they can be!  Seeing their proud smiles when sharing their thinking and awesome work is the absolute best!  First grade is an amazing year filled with wonderful growth.  Teaching has always been my dream job.

In my free time, spending time with my family is most important to me.  My family and I love spending time outdoors riding bikes and visiting our beautiful beaches.  Exploring new places is always at the top of my list of favorite things to do.  We love animals and have dogs that we take on lots of walks.   I have a large extended family nearby that I enjoy spending time with, too. My favorite thing to do is READ!  I take a book practically  everywhere I go.  I hope I can inspire our little learners to love to read as much as I do.
