Dear Parents & Students,

Welcome back! I am so excited to meet you and be your 8th grade ELA teacher this year. 

This is a big year for you as it is your last year at WIS! It is your last chance to leave your mark on our school: to mature, make friends, learn, participate in extracurricular activities and prepare to enter high school.

I have nothing but high hopes and expectations for all of you. And I am certain that if we all work together you will succeed and enjoy your last year at WIS! To get off on the right start, review the checklist of materials that you will need for our class.

I look forward getting to know each of you and your families this year!
 
Materials
    • Choice reading novel (at your reading level) Check out this list! You must bring your own book from home or from Wall library
    • One Subject 5 Star Notebook
    • You can put the following in a pencil case if you have one: 
      • Highlighters
      • Pencils
      • Ear buds (compatible with chromebook)
      • Post it notes
