Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!
My name is Mrs. Maher and I am your child's 8th grade math teacher, and I have the pleasure of teaching with Mr. Magliaro this year. Click here to send me an email and for Mr. Magliaro, his email address is [email protected]
Period 2-3's link to Google Classroom is zml63vr. Period 6-7's link to Google Classroom is jqk2o2w.
The Live Document for homework is here.
Supplies needed for math include a 3-ring 1-inch binder, two sharpened pencils, a black dry erase marker with some type of eraser for the dry-erase marker.
Each day, the class will start with a Minute Math exercise, with a POD, followed by reviewing the previous day’s Exit Pass and homework. After that, the lesson for the day begins.
Any missing assignments can be made up for partial credit.
Major assessments or tests are 50% of the grade, minor assessments or quizzes are 30% of the grade, and independent assignments, such as classwork, are 20% of the grade.
My extra help day is on Wednesday and Mr. Magliaro's day is Monday, both held in room 306.
We are very excited about meeting you and we are expecting a spectacular year!
