Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year!

My name is Mr. Magliaro and I am your child's 8th grade Math teacher, and I have the pleasure of teaching with Mrs. Maher and Mrs. Hennessy this year.  My email address is [email protected]

Supplies needed for math include a 3-ring 1-inch binder, two sharpened pencils, a black dry erase marker with some type of eraser for the dry-erase marker.

Each day, the class will start with a Minute Math exercise, with a POD, followed by reviewing the previous day’s Exit Pass and homework. After that, the lesson for the day begins. 

Major assessments or tests are 50% of the grade, minor assessments or quizzes are 30% of the grade, and independent assignments, such as classwork, are 20% of the grade.

My extra help day is on Monday, Mrs. Maher's day is Thursday, both held in room 306. Mrs. Hennessy's day is Thursday in room 314.

A little about me! This is my 13th year teaching in the district. I have taught many different Math classes at 6th, 7th & 8th grade levels. My wife and I both work in the district and we have 2 young boys. I also run the Fall Intramurals program and also coach Girl's Basketball at WIS!
