Our library accepts books anytime! If you have young adult novels that you'd like to pass along to other readers, we would really appreciate it. If a student donates a book, a sticker will be placed inside with his/her name on it. Thank you so much!

Ask your children to see their posts on SeeSaw to get a glimpse into our classroom. Please join SeeSaw (if you haven't already) to see their online writing portfolio!

Please encourage your son or daughter to talk about his/her book club book. In order to have  discussions in their book clubs and with me, they have to be reading. Use the questions below to spark up the conversation:

  • What made you choose this book? A recommendation A friend? The cover?
  • Explain the setting. How is the setting affected by the conflict?
  • Who or what does the main character struggle with in the novel?
  • Explain the most exciting part; the turning point; or an unexpected event in the novel.
  • How has the book affected/changed you as a reader?
