Mr. Christopher Barnes
This is my 32nd year in education. It is my 23rd year at Wall High School. I was a teacher of health and physical education for 16 years, while also serving as a committee member and coach. This will be my 16th year as a high school counselor. I have a degree from Syracuse University. I live in Brielle and enjoy my time at the beach on walks and college football Saturdays with my wife Julia and three daughters. I greatly appreciate and value the students and parents that I have the opportunity to work with. I am always striving to help the students in their journey at Wall High School.
Mrs. Danielle Farrell
This is my 24th year in education and 20th year in the Wall Township School District. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I taught middle school and high school math. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Mathematics from The College of NJ and a Master's degree in Education/Student Personnel Services from Georgian Court University. Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my family, watching our daughter's sporting events, at the beach, catching sunrises, and running. As a 1995 alumni of WHS (please do not do the math!), I am fortunate to be here and have the opportunity to work with so many wonderful students and families. I am proud of the accomplishments of our students and it is a pleasure working with them each day. My message in my life inside and outside of work is simple.... Be Kind. I'd like to share a quote from Queen Elizabeth - ".... the cumulative impact of thousands of small acts of goodness can be bigger than we imagine."
Mrs. Judith Anne Gilberti
Teacher, coach, advisor, student advocate, and school counselor are the titles that have followed me throughout my educational career. Outside the school environment, I am a proud alumna of Saint-Mary-of-the Woods College, IN (BS HE) and Monmouth University, NJ (MS Ed), an active member of the Monmouth County/New Jersey School Counselor Associations, Cheer-Dance Competitive Coach/Judge, and “Silver Sister” of Alpha Delta Kappa, an International honorary organization for women educators. La Famiglia E Tutto (“Family is Everything”)! Sunday dinners are filled with family, food, football, and fun! Win or lose... the Scarlet Knights, Fighting Irish, and Indianapolis Colts are the fan favorite teams. The best thing about being a school counselor is the relationships that are created between students and parents. Every day at Wall High School is a great day to be a knight!
Mrs. Dana Griggs
I am grateful to be entering my 30th year in education. My high school students teach me something new every day, and I am fortunate to work with such an amazing, dedicated staff at Wall High School. I began my career in 1993 as a middle school Language Arts teacher in Long Branch. I became a school counselor in 2000 at Wall Intermediate School, and I made the move to Wall High School in 2015. I earned my Master's in Teaching at Fordham University in 1993, my School Counseling Certification at Georgian Court in 2000, and my Master's in Educational Administration at the University of Scranton in 2008. My husband Mike and I have been married for 28 years and we are raising 3 children, Danielle, Michael, and Sean. We are avid sports fans and love everything football, baseball, and swimming.
"When man believes his achievements define him, he is lost. When he seeks to have integrity, humility, and compassion, then he is on the path to finding his purpose."
Mr. Frank Janks
This is my 12th year as a School Counselor at WHS. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The College of New Jersey and a Master's degree in Counseling from Montclair State University. I live in Shark River Hills with my wife, daughter, two dogs, and two cats. I enjoy spending time with family, camping, playing guitar, cooking and eating a good meal. I am looking forward to a great school year!
Mrs. Kathleen Rivera
I am so excited to be part of Wall High School for my 8th year of counseling! I grew up in Middlesex County, graduated from Montclair State, and earned my Master's degree in School Counseling from St. John's University. I love to go on hikes, travel in the summer, and hang out with my niece and nephews!
