Digital Game Design is an overview of the game design industry and how to create digital games. All aspects of game design will be discussed, including it’s history, legal and ethical concerns, gameplay concepts, sounds, effects, UI, and game release. Students will utilize both Unity and Scratch to create games and explore each game design career area. The course will culminate in a student-created game design project.
